Boca Raton builds luxury into mid-rise living

Boca Raton, a mid-rise luxury condominium development, is under construction at the southwest corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and Serene Avenue.

"We're creating a luxury community where the residents feel secure in knowing that we have a focus on providing amenities that assist in making their day-to-day activities more comfortable," said Jerry Peterson, a managing partner in the project.

"When planning a community, you must take into consideration not only the obvious features buyers are looking for, but the features they may not think about until they've moved in."

Another consideration, he said, is security.

"Keeping the neighborhood secure was a top priority in the planning of the development. We designed the community to have a guard-gated entrance with 8-foot security walls that surround the 15 acres."

The project comprises four seven-story buildings and 756 units, ranging from nearly 600 to more than 2,300 square feet.

Prices start from the $300,000s to more than $1 million.

Amenities include a fitness center in each building, as well as a larger fitness facility in the clubhouse; a business center and screening room in the clubhouse; jogging trails; parks with pet comfort stations; two pools; spas; and concierge service. A shuttle to McCarran International Airport and the Strip will be available.

A full-size replica of a Casita floor plan can be seen in the sales office at 2475 W. Serene Ave.
