The Paseos offers Summerlin locale

Buyers can choose from multiple products

The Paseos, located within the Summerlin master-planned community, is one of the most actively selling villages, according to the developer. It features nine neighborhoods offering nearly 40 different floor plans that range from 1,316 to 4,010 square feet.

Prices start from the low $300,000s to the mid-$900,000s.

Homes are available in Calavera by Richmond American; Cordova by Pulte; Coronado by Westmark; Granada by William Lyon; Las Lomas and Serrano by Toll Bros.; Mariposa by KB Home; Palomar by both William Lyon and Woodside; and Tierra Bella by Lennar.

Located west of the Las Vegas Beltway, the 375-acre village features Hacienda- and Mission-style architecture.

"Hacienda and Mission architecture are two of the few styles that actually originated in the west and traveled east, unlike the normal east to west course of design," said Tom Warden, vice president of community and government relations for The Howard Hughes Corp., Summerlin's developer.

"This southwestern look, which is best known for its simple architectural lines, arches, portals, arcades, clay barrel roof tiles and earth toned stucco, has been popular throughout the United States for decades and remains popular with Southern Nevada home buyers today. It's an appropriate look for The Paseos given its geographic surroundings that include the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area to the west."

Upon completion, the village will be home to 14 neighborhoods, an elementary school, house of worship, a 12.5 acre park and trail system. The park will feature children's play areas, baseball fields and basketball courts.

To date, nearly 1,000 homes have sold.

Summerlin aligns the western edge of the Las Vegas Valley and comprises villages.

Amenities include more than 100 neighborhood and village parks, more than 120 miles of trails, houses of worship, shopping centers, medical facilities, cultural facilities, business parks and nearly 100 model homes.

Single-family homes, townhomes, condominiums and lofts are priced from the low $200,000s to more than $2 million. Custom-home sites are priced from the $600,000s.

Monthly rent for apartments starts from the low $900s.
