Pardee's Talavera gains broad appeal

The Talavera neighborhood in Eldorado Highlands is ideal for first-time home buyers as well as families who need room to expand, said Pardee Homes' sales director Rob Tuvell about houses available in the North Las Vegas community of Eldorado.

"Talavera buyers not only get a lot of home for their dollars, they also get a great value in a family-oriented neighborhood," Tuvell said.

Buyers can choose from four one- and two-story plans with three to five bedrooms, family rooms, formal living rooms, island kitchens in most plans, and master suites.

Plan One is a single-story, three-bedroom home with two baths and a two-car garage. Measuring 1,383 square feet, the home is priced from $141,950.

Plan Two is a single-story home with three bedrooms, optional den or fourth bedroom, two baths, and two-car garage. The home is priced from $148,450.

The two-story Plan Three, priced from $165,950, includes four bedrooms, three baths and a two-car garage. Measuring 2,046 square, the home offers an optional configuration including a bonus room and three-car garage in 2,442 square feet.

The Plan Four features as many as five bedrooms and three baths, den or optional loft, and three-car garage. Measuring 2,296 square feet, the two-story home is priced from $176,950.

Prices include the Energy Star package that make the homes at least 30 percent more energy efficient than the standard home.

"Pardee Homes was the first large builder in the country to make the commitment that all of its new homes comply with the EPA's Energy Star program," Tuvell said. "It's part of Pardee's commitment to the environment and also demonstrates our corporate mission to build homes for the way families really want to live."

Models are located in the Eldorado Highlands model park, along with eight models from the builder's Fontana and Mandevilla neighborhoods.

Eldorado features an elementary school, two parks and a fire station.

To visit, take Craig Road to Camino al Norte and proceed north to the community's entrance. Sales office hours are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily except Monday, when it opens at 11 a.m.

The builder has been active in Southern Nevada for 50 years.
