Centex lauds Las Vegas division

The Las Vegas division of Centex Homes recently received a Centexcellence Award of Distinction for 2001 from the company's national office.

To receive the award, a division must score an "excellent" or better rating in customer satisfaction; an "extremely likely to recommend to a friend, relative or colleague" rating; and have at least 100 percent growth in earnings.

"Winning a Centexcellence Award shows that we are exceeding our customers' expectations," sales and marketing director Scott Worrall said.

Centex Homes is one of the largest home builders in the United States, having built and sold more than 300,000 homes.

The company has eight active subdivisions in Las Vegas: Santa Bella, Solana Del Mar, Pearl Cove, Pearl Pointe, Mountain Sky, Chapparal Trails, Sedona Falls and Creekside. It sold 548 homes in Southern Nevada last year, ranking it No. 13 for number of homes sold in the valley.
