Sagewood models available

Four professionally decorated and landscaped model homes will be offered for sale this weekend in Pardee Homes' Sagewood neighborhood of the Rancho Las Palmas community in the southeastern valley, according to Ray Landry, assistant vice president of sales.

"In addition to upgraded flooring and kitchen packages, these homes have been customized with options that include fireplaces, French doors, ceiling fans and crown molding. Because the models have been decorated by one of the West's leading design companies, the upscale color schemes also add to their value," Landry said.

The single-story Plan One model home has three bedrooms, two baths, a combination kitchen and dining room with a preparation island, and two-car garage. It measures 1,383 square feet and is priced at $204,925.

Plan Two is a single-story design with three bedrooms, a den, two baths, living room with a fireplace, and an angular-shaped kitchen with a breakfast bar. It measures 1,718 square feet and is priced at $223,275.

Measuring 2,296 square feet, is the two-story Plan Four. The home has four bedrooms, a den, 2 1/2 baths and a three-car garage. Additionally, there is a fireplace and media niche in the family room. The model is priced at $263,600.

A second-floor laundry room and linen closet highlight Plan Five. The model offers three bedrooms, a den, family room with a fireplace and media niche, bonus room, three baths, and a three-car garage. The 2,457-square-foot design is priced at $277,670.

All homes feature the Environmental Protection Agency's Energy Star label, which verify that the designs exceed national energy-efficiency standards by at least 30 percent.

Community amenities include an elementary school and 8-acre park with ball fields; basketball, volleyball and tennis courts; jogging trails; and picnic areas with a covered kiosk and barbecue.

To visit, take Interstate 215 to Windmill Lane and turn right. Proceed to Bermuda Road, turn left and follow the signs.

The sales office is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily except Monday, when it opens at 11 a.m.
