Turnberry touts new 'concierge'

Turnberry Towers plans to install a new electronic amenities system that serves as a personal concierge in all of its suites. With the touch of a button, residents will be able to select from a menu of options such as requesting their car from the valet, making reservations at restaurants, or securing tickets to a show, according to John Riordan, vice president of sales for Turnberry Associates.

"The integrative technology enables us to take the luxury trademarks of the Turnberry lifestyle one step further," he said. "Turnberry Towers will be home to many second-home buyers and part-time residents who desire a low-maintenance lifestyle. The ability to schedule their daily activities with the push of a button can make a busy schedule much more manageable."

The luxury-condominium project's AMX Amenities Solution will link residents with on-site amenities such as valet, limousine and room service, spa reservations, and the front desk, as well as outside services.

The system uses wireless touch panels that can be placed throughout the residences.

"The Las Vegas lifestyle is about convenience and amenities, and an integrative technology that brings resort service into the household is the next evolution," said Scott Norder, AMX vice president of business development.

The high-rise project will feature two 45-story towers at the corner of Paradise Road and Karen Avenue. Upon completion, which is scheduled for spring 2007, the development will have 636 residences.

Construction on the first tower is set to start in June with occupancy slated for spring 2007; construction on the second tower is set to begin at the end of 2005 or early 2006.

The first tower is nearly sold out and sales for the second tower are set to begin in early June. Prices range from $500,000 to more than $1.3 million.

A sales office, located at 222 Karen Ave., showcases a 1,658-square-foot furnished model suite. The office is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The developer also is offering The Residences at MGM Grand, a luxury condominium-hotel.
