-- The Clark County School District dedicated the Lawrence and Heidi Canarelli Middle School, named for the founder and president of Las Vegas-based American West Development and his wife. The school is located within the builder's Coronado Ranch community at 7808 S. Torrey Pines Drive. -- Linda S. Wischmeyer, director of management services at Grubb & Ellis, has earned the Certified Property Manager designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management. -- M&N Development broke ground on phase one of Lamb Industrial Park at 2925 N. Lamb Blvd. in North Las Vegas. The project will comprise four 8,000-square-foot buildings, as well as four 10,000-square-foot structures. -- Lyn Houben of RE/Max Advantage represented Steve and Mindy Gao in their purchase of one-half acre at 6520 W. Cheyenne Ave. from J. Trenberth, represented by Deirdre Felgar of Realty America, for $450,000. In another transaction, Houben represented Mindy Gao and Judy Hsu in their purchase of 1,300 square feet in the Durango Trails building at the southwest corner of Durango Drive and Reno Avenue from Durango Trails Developers for $230,000. -- Ron Mendicino of SBO Commercial represented Procyon Industrial Park in its 30-month lease of 5,000 square feet at 3651 Ali Baba Lane, Suite 106, to Steimel Communications, represented by Rusty Hall of ASF Realty, for $75,000. Mendicino also represented Thomasville Home Furnishings of Las Vegas in its 65-month lease of 16,584 square feet at 7685 Commercial Way from STWMS, represented by Greg Pancirov and Michael DeLew of Colliers International, for $693,104. Mendicino represented Walapai Properties in its sale of 6,500 square feet at 4725 Quality Court to the Goldstrom Family Trust, represented by Wayne Miller, for $650,000. Mendicino represented the Buckalew Trust in its sale of 24,580 square feet at 3965 Post Road to Lehigh Nevada Corp., represented by Barry Throgmorton of Throgmorton and Associates, for $2.82 million. -- Terri White of Las Vegas Properties represented Matthew and Tracy Terracin in the purchase of 5,000 square feet at 2680 S. Jones Blvd. from Shea Professional Plaza Investors, represented by Lucinda Stanley of Shea Commercial, for $840,000. -- Michael Dunn of Cushman and Wakefield represented Progressive Lending in its three-year lease of 3,216 square feet at 3980 Howard Hughes Parkway, Suite 300, from 3980 HHP/Hughes Center, represented by Tom Stilley of Colliers International, for $312,692. -- Voit Commercial Brokerage's Kevin Higgins and Kyle Eigenman represented LB Industrial in four sales: 7,393 square feet at 6438 Arville St. to G. Peter Lee for $715,000; 7,977 square feet at 6416 Arville St. to Matt Construction for $790,000; 8,406 square feet at 6434 Arville St. to Trang Mguyen for $800,000; and 8,400 square feet at 6430 Arville St. to Frey Development for $820,000. Higgins and Eigenman also represented DP Industrial in its 84-month lease of 97,400 square feet at 3200 E. Gowan Road, Suite 115, to Metals USA for $2.84 million. Higgins and Eigenman represented A&P Buildings in its sale of a 7,400-square-foot building at 3432 Neeham Road, Lots 13 and 14, to Fidel Nabor for $725,000. Higgins and Eigenman also represented Macady Mac in its sale of 3,264 square feet at 4336 Alexander Road to Lowell McGann for $307,500. In addition, Higgins and Eigenman represented Pacific Industrial Park in its 37-month lease of 10,438 square feet at 1075 American Pacific Dr., Suite A, to Video Entertainment for $212,413. Dean Willmore represented Ad America in its purchase of a 28,215-square-foot office/warehouse at 2310 S. Highland Drive from the Marsha J. Anderson Irrevocable Trust for $1.6 million. -- Lucchesi and Associates' Catherine Lucchesi represented Allstate Insurance in its five-year lease of 1,200 square feet in Fort Apache Twin Plaza at 3635 S. Fort Apache Road from Twain 3 for $141,984. Lucchesi also represented Washington Mutual Bank in its five-year lease of 3,733 square feet at 6430 Sky Pointe Drive from Centennial Crossroads Plaza for $403,164.
