Recreation center opens with big splash in Waterfall

Residents join in grand opening celebration

Centex Homes recently hosted a grand opening celebration for the 2,800-square-foot recreation center within its Waterfall community in North Las Vegas.

The new facility features a 24-hour fitness area and a clubhouse with a full kitchen.

A heated swimming pool, cabana, fireplace and barbecue area are outdoors.

"It's a great place for a neighborhood party. The pool and spa are my favorite features, and the outdoor fireplace," said Vicky Lewis, homeowner association administrator.

"The recreation center will give Waterfall a sense of community by providing a central gathering place."

The facility is located in the park at Angeline Falls, one of four neighborhoods within Waterfall. The park also provides a climbing wall, splash park and play areas.

Homes within Waterfall are available in 15 one- and two-story floor plans. Each offers three distinctive elevations.

Each gated neighborhood also provides a private park.

Aberdeen Falls features two-story homes as large as 3,807 square feet with as many as seven bedrooms and 4 1/2 baths.

Pool-size lots and three-car garages are available.

Two-story floor plans at Angeline Falls are as large as 3,063 square feet with as many as five bedrooms and four baths.

Options include casitas, three-car garages, porte-cocheres and turrets.

Latourell Falls features single-story homes as large as 2,756 square feet with as many as four bedrooms.

The residences are available with great rooms, volume ceilings, morning rooms, three-car garages and casitas. Pool-size lots are available.

Isabel Falls provides single-story homes as large as 2,227 square feet with features such as morning rooms and optional dual master suites.

Covered patios are also featured.

Buyers who finance their purchase through CTX Mortgage will receive $5,000 off closing costs.

In support of the local community, Centex Homes' Las Vegas division has pledged to donate $125 to Nevada State College for each home that the builder closes escrow on between June 2005 and July 2007.

The Dallas-based company provides mortgage, title, escrow, insurance and design services.
