One model remains at Huntington
Las Vegas native Richard Miller and Ruthie Sosa knew they found something special when they entered the two-story, 2,196-square-foot Monterey model at Coventry Homes' The Huntington neighborhood in the southeastern valley.
"We just love the layout," Miller said. "We wanted something with a loft. When you walk into the Monterey, it is so open and big.
"We also love the kitchen and the front porch. It has a great big island in the middle. It also has a lot of windows."
Miller and Sosa, both of whom work in the hospitality industry, said they liked that the surrounding area already had a lot of development.
The neighborhood is nearly sold out. One model home, the Carmel, remains for sale. The two-story, 1,940-square-foot floor plan has dual owner suites, 2 1/2 baths and a family room. It is available furnished for $195,990, or unfurnished for $188,990.
The model home comes with landscaping; various design elements; and upgraded amenities such as a built-in barbecue, a fireplace in the owner suite, upgraded tile counter tops; and a mirrored living room wall.
"Whether the Carmel model home is purchased furnished or unfurnished, the bottom line is that the buyer saves thousands of dollars," sales manager R. Wayne Wermuth said.
"In fact, in the home-building industry, many people wait for the models to go on sale before buying. There truly is no better way to purchase a home than by capitalizing on the fact that the builder adds virtually every interior and exterior element to the home."
The Carmel model can be viewed by taking Eastern Avenue to Silverado Ranch Boulevard and heading west.
The sales office is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily except Friday, when it opens at 10 a.m.
