Architecture impresses Palisades home buyers

     Former San Francisco residents Dewey and Jamilia Hinkley considered several neighborhoods before buying a home at Christopher Homes' Palisades neighborhood in Summerlin.

      The Hinkleys purchased the Monet floor plan, a 3,758-square-foot home with four bedrooms, 3 1/2 baths and a three-car garage. An optional casita increases its square footage to more than 4,000 square feet.
      "We felt that the Monet model was perfect for us. It is a convenient single-story home that is located directly on the golf course and very elegantly decorated and appointed," Jamilia Hinkley said. "Our home has a lovely courtyard with a fireplace, a separate casita, spacious living areas and a wonderful master suite."
      Buyers can choose from various options and upgrades at the builder's design center, such as covered patios, French doors, elevators, courtyard fireplaces, detached guest quarters, room additions, four-car garages, secondary owner suites, extra baths, bonus rooms, libraries, wine cellars and wet bars.
      To visit the neighborhood, take Summerlin Parkway to Town Center Drive, turn left and proceed to Hualapai Way.
