Meritage housing still available
Two dozen homes remain for sale at Meritage, a Capital Pacific Homes neighborhood in Green Valley Ranch.
Sales agent Hope Broadley said several factors point to the success of the community, particularly the fact that the builder pays Local Improvement District costs.
"The builder picking up the fees really saves people on their monthly bills," Broadley said. "It's been a big reason for the popularity of Meritage."
Four two-story floor plans are available, each with a three-car garage.
Homes are priced from the $250,000s.
Residence One measures 3,029 square feet with four bedrooms, a family room and three baths. A fifth bedroom or den is optional.
With 3,436 square feet, Residence Two can be built with as many as five bedrooms and three baths.
There are four bedrooms plus a den, or five bedrooms, and four baths in the 3,555-square-foot Residence Three.
Residence Four, a 3,878-square-foot home, offers four to six bedrooms, three baths and an extended family room.
Interiors include oak cabinets, cultured-marble vanity tops and oak handrails. Also available are laundry rooms and walk-in closets.
Kitchens offer microwave ovens, pantries, recessed lighting, and island workstations in some plans.
When complete, the neighborhood will feature 128 homes.
To visit, take Lake Mead Drive to Green Valley Parkway, go south to Paseo Verde Parkway, right on Palomino Village Drive, left on Mountain Ridge Drive, right on Sonic Terrace and right on Whispering Circle. The sales office is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
