Pulte exec: Diverse floor plans attract buyers to Mill Creek

Pulte Homes' home designs, standard features and amenities are attracting home buyers to its Mill Creek neighborhood in the Lynbrook community in the northwestern valley, according to Joe Whatley, vice president of sales and marketing.

"Lynbrook has taken the concept of master-plan developments to a new level with its unique landscape features and four private parks all within the gated community," Whatley said. "Home buyers at Mill Creek are impressed with the floor plan options on both the single- and two-story models that fit all lifestyles from retirees to growing families."

According to Whatley, among the standard features is a structured wiring and multimedia package, which contains an increased number of video inputs, and telephone and cable outlets. It also includes centralized phone and cable wiring which allows homeowners to control all functions of phones, televisions and computers from one location.

The home designs have also earned the EPA 5 Star Energy seal for such energy-efficient features as ground-mounted air-conditioning units, gas heat and blown-in insulation.

Two single-story plans, measuring 2,300 and 2,561 square feet with split bedroom designs, are available in addition to three two-story plans, ranging from 3,007 to 3,589 square feet with four to seven bedrooms.

Prices begin at $197,990.

Front-yard landscaping, a covered patio, covered front porch and/or courtyard (per plan), and prewiring for a garage door opener and security system are included.

Homes, per plan, feature vaulted ceilings, lofts, ceramic-tile flooring in the entry, six-panel doors, prewiring for ceiling fans in owner suites and family rooms, and art niches.

Kitchens offer cabinets with roll-out trays, built-in gas cook tops and electric ovens, dishwashers, microwaves, double sinks, solid surface counter tops, and recessed lighting (per plan).

To visit, take U.S. Highway 95 to Ann Road, head east to Jones Boulevard, then go north about four miles to Farm Road and follow the signs. The models are open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. except Monday, when they open at noon.

Visitors to any of the builder's neighborhoods through Aug. 19 may register for the Pulte Dream Home Sweepstakes, which will award one grand-prize winner a home or $250,000 toward a home at any of the builder's neighborhoods nationwide. The grand prize winner will be announced around Sept. 27.
