Aliante's features attract family
After two months of searching, David Correa and Angela Kozlowski decided that the Aliante master-planned community in North Las Vegas offered the best combination of features for their family of three, which includes 4-year-old Kyra. "... We found homes that were priced right and offered the features we wanted, but we didn't want to just buy a home within a block of homes. We wanted to be part of a community -- a place designed with families in mind. Once we saw Aliante, we knew this was the place," Correa said. "The location is great, the mountain views are very pretty and the parks, trails and recreational facilities are second to none that we have seen anywhere else. We think Aliante is comparable to the finest master-plans in the valley and the homes are very competitively priced." They purchased a home in KB Home's San Destin Tivoli neighborhood. "The floor plan we chose is just right for us. It has a spacious kitchen, a convenient living-dining room combination, and a loft that will serve perfectly as a home office and play room area," Correa said. "We think we made a wise decision in choosing Aliante. Along with providing a great living environment, a community like this also tends to foster a sense of pride-of-ownership among its residents. It also helps to ensure that our investment will have enduring value, which was a very important consideration for us." Aliante is being developed by North Valley Enterprises, an affiliate of American Nevada Co. and Del Webb Corp. Encompassing 1,905 acres, the community consists of primary and age-qualified villages and will have as many as 7,500 homes. About one-fourth of the acreage is designated for recreational and public purposes including an 18-hole municipal golf course, three city parks, trails, linear parks and an arroyo. Builders in the primary village are: D.R. Horton, KB Home, Pardee Homes and Pulte Homes; Del Webb is building the age-qualified Sun City Aliante. Plans also call for two elementary schools, a middle school, fire station and about 100 acres of commercial development. To visit, take U.S. Highway 95 to Centennial Parkway, exit east to Sky Pointe Drive and turn right. Turn right at Frontage Road then left onto Interstate 215. Exit at Aliante Parkway and go south to the primary village or north to Sun City Aliante. Hours are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
