Turnberry Place hosts monthly winemakers' dinners

Turnberry Place residents have the opportunity to meet some of the world's best-known winemakers and attend monthly winemakers' dinners in The Stirling Club. The private club is one of several amenities offered to residents of the $650 million high-rise development on Paradise Road.

Wine connoisseurs and new wine enthusiasts can savor the flavor of a variety of fine wines available at the club, which also houses a separate club called the Twenty Eight Club, whose members enjoy the autographed private reserve wine placed in their personal wine locker, as well as a lecture from the featured winemaker prior to the dinner.

A variety of winemakers have visited, having come from Caudalie in Bordeaux, France; Iron Horse Winery, north of San Francisco; and Compte Dampierre from the Champagne region of France. Former actor Fess Parker will visit June 5 to discuss The Fess Parker Winery & Vineyard.

The Stirling Club measures 80,000 square feet, and also offers casual and formal dining, a lounge with piano bar, nightclub, billiard room, wine and cigar room, concierge service, business center, and library. The 30,000-square-foot Caudalie anti-aging Vinotherapie spa, the first of its kind in the United States, includes a virtual reality system, beauty salon, spas, saunas and steam baths, a Pilates studio, lap pool, plunge pools, and a fitness center. There is also an outdoor mosaic pool with private butler cabanas and a pool bar.

Personal attention is standard in the club, where each member is known by name, along with their dining preferences and preferred spa treatments.

The gated development will include four 40-story towers. The first tower is completed, the second is 90 percent sold and will open soon. The third tower is 50 percent sold and will break ground in June.

Ten floor plans are available, ranging from 1,550 to 8,000 square feet. Prices start from $500,000 to more than $5.25 million.

Each residence is highlighted by Italian-marble; granite-topped kitchen cabinetry; Sub-Zero and Gagganeu appliances; and private, wraparound glass balconies with city views.

Additional amenities include include valet parking; 24-hour security; and concierge, limousine and room services.

Visitors can tour a 2,825-square-foot model residence that includes a simulated view. The sales office is located at 2777 Paradise Road, and is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Turnberry Place is being developed by Turnberry Associates, a Florida-based company.
