-- Pulte Homes-Del Webb ranked sixth on the 2004 list of Best Places to Work in Southern Nevada, according to a survey of employees. The list was compiled by the Southern Nevada Human Resources Association and a local business publication. More than 80 companies were nominated. In a survey of Pardee Homes employees, their satisfaction with the company placed it on the list of the 101 Best Companies to Work For, which was sponsored by The Reed Business Group, publisher of Professional Builder, Professional Remodeler, Luxury Home Builders and HousingZone. More than 300 companies were considered.

-- Las Ventanas appointed Brian Weaver as its executive director. The life-care community, which is scheduled to accept its first residents this summer, welcomes Weaver from Front Porch Corp., where he held executive director positions.

-- Geotechnical and Environmental Services appointed Anthony Brower as an engineering technician. Brower performs field testing and inspections on construction materials such as soil, concrete and asphalt. Previously, Brower worked on various projects on the East Coast, including a $385 million road-widening project in Massachusetts.

-- Rhonda Panciro of the Plise Cos. represented the company in its 55-month lease of 2,583 square feet in the Siena Office Park at 2850 Horizon Ridge Parkway, Suite 120, to Fidelity National Title of Nevada, represented by Hans Miller of the Orion Realty Group, for $255,717. Panciro also represented the Plise Cos. in its 60-month lease of 5,100 square feet in the Siena Office Park at 871 Coronado Center Drive, Suites 110 and 120, to Soma Financial, represented by Melissa Amos of Venture Realty, for $556,479.

-- Kellye Ray of Harsch Investment Properties represented the Patrick Airport Business Center in its three-year lease of 10,277 square feet at 3035 E. Patrick Lane to Public Market Ventures for $390,000. In another transaction, Alma Llerenas represented the Speedway Commerce Center in its three-year lease of 6,836 square feet at 6925 Speedway Blvd., Suite C-102, to Rewaco-Trikes for $110,000.

-- Charles Van Geel of the American Nevada Co. represented the company in the 61-month lease of 7,345 square feet at 2485 Village View Drive in the Green Valley Corporate Center to Toyota Motor Credit Corp., represented by Wade Clark of The Staubach Co., for $867,866. Richard Green represented American Nevada Co. in the three-year lease of 900 square feet at 2728 N. Green Valley Parkway in the Green Valley Plaza to CR Home Design for $55,079. Josh Thomas represented American Nevada Co. in the 62-month lease of 8,123 square feet at 15 Cactus Garden Drive in the Green Valley Commerce Center to Spectrum Pharmacy Services for $572,111.

-- Colliers International's Scot Marker and David Grant represented Ziarnowski Properties in its purchase of 5,100 square feet at 1760 W. Horizon Ridge Parkway in Henderson from MacDonald Properties for $1.55 million. In another transaction, Daniel Doherty, Brian Pankratz and Patti Dillon represented JMAC Industries in its sale of 1.09 acres at 5520 Stephanie St. to Crown Properties for $275,000. Michael DeLew, Spencer Pinter and Greg Pancirov represented S.T.W.M.S.V. in its 62-month lease of 5,760 square feet at 7585 Commercial Way, Suite I, in Henderson to the Las Vegas Trike Center for $268,611. DeLew, Pinter and Pancirov represented the Henry W. & Charlotte N. Besuden Revocable Trust in its 60-month lease of 3,952 square feet at 1260 Rockpebble Ave. to TruGreen LandCare for $254,208. Tom Stilley, Lizz Schafer and Taber Thill represented First American Title Co. of Nevada in its 60-month lease of 3,300 square feet at 8350 W. Sahara Avenue, Suite 120, from the Great American Plaza, represented by Hilary Stoltz of Las Vegas Valley Commercial Brokers, for $332,640.
