Final golf lots put on market within MacDonald Highlands

Guard-gated luxury community nestled into hillsides in Henderson

Only one neighborhood has custom lots remaining that align the DragonRidge golf course in MacDonald Highlands, a guard-gated community in Henderson.

"This is the final opportunity to purchase golf course frontage within MacDonald Highlands," said Rich MacDonald, president of MacDonald Cos., the developer.

"Our new releases of custom lots will be ascending into the higher elevations of our mountain range."

Buyers can choose from one-half acre to 1-acre parcels at Lairmont, a 12-acre enclave that fronts the private golf course.

The gated and elevated neighborhood is designed for single-story, two-story and multilevel custom estates. The home sites are priced from $1.2 million.

Hillside releases include the neighborhoods of Glenbrook Canyon and Dragon Gate.

Glenbrook offers 14 mountainous home sites sequestered behind its own privacy gates. The lots range from .99 acres to 1.76 acres, and are priced from $1.1 million.

Dragon Gate is an elevated ridge of 12 lots on one private street. The lots at the heightened elevation are designed for multilevel residences.

The upper hillside will remain in its natural state to accommodate tiered architecture, while the lower hillside has been transformed into stepped lots for a more cascading residential design.

The sites measure from .51 acre to .88 acre. Prices start at $950,000.

DragonRidge Country Club provides an 18-hole championship golf course in addition to a clubhouse with a formal dining room, two mixed grills and lounges, a grand ballroom, a fitness facility, swimming pool and pro shop.

MacDonald Highlands is planned to include three community parks with tennis, basketball and volleyball courts; play areas; picnic facilities; and walking trails.

An information center is open daily at 1730 W. Horizon Ridge Parkway, Suite 100.

To visit, take the Las Vegas Beltway to Valle Verde Drive and go south to Horizon Ridge Parkway.
