Stallion Mountain offers `Greens' memories

Pulte Homes' The Greens, located within the Stallion Mountain community in the southeastern valley, offers golf course living, according to company executive Joe Whatley.

The neighborhood features gas lamplights, parks and all-single-story floor plans. They range from 2,476 to 2,881 square feet.

Prices start at $228,990.

The Doral floor plan, which offers immediate move-in, measures 2,726 square feet. It features four bedrooms, a great room, circular dining area, kitchen with a nook, and casita with a full bath.

The builder also includes features such as stucco eaves, garage door openers, patio covers, prewiring for security systems, 75-gallon water heaters and front-yard landscaping.

Interiors feature nine- and 10-foot ceilings, ceramic-tile entries, lighting fixtures, raised-panel doors, fireplaces and ceiling fan prewiring.

Kitchens come with cabitnetry that includes concealed hinges, roll-out trays, adjustable shelves and crown molding, as well as gas cook tops, dishwashers and microwaves.

The homes are designed with the builder's Engineered for Life-Platinum Series technology, which is designed to save money on utility bills. These features include ground-mounted air conditioning units; forced-air gas heating; and exterior walls, ceilings and roofs with blown-in cellulose insulation.

Pulte backs its homes with a 10-year transferable warranty.

To visit, take Interstate 515 to Flamingo Road, go east, past Boulder Highway, to the entrance of Stallion Mountain and turn left. The models are open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., except on Monday when they open at noon.

Also within the community are the builder's Links and Fairways communities. The Links community features four single-story floor plans, ranging from 1,190 to 1,619 square feet with prices starting at $130,990. The Fairways presents four floor plans that range from 1,531 to 2,300 square feet with the prices starting at $162,990.
