C2 Lofts features urban style

C2 Lofts at Summerlin is unique in the new-home market in Southern Nevada, according to sales agent Frances Smock.

"Anyone familiar with the Las Vegas market will know that there is a proliferation of high-rise, mid-rise and mixed-use developments throughout the valley right now," Smock said.

"What sets C2 Lofts apart is its more intimate scale with only 100 loft residences in two buildings, and its location in Summerlin, which is one of the most popular master-planned communities in the nation."

The gated development is located at the southwest corner of the Las Vegas Beltway and Charleston Boulevard.

Each of the five-story buildings will feature a landscaped roof garden with a fire pit, fireplace, barbecues and lounging area.

Homeownership also includes an executive golf club membership at Red Rock Country Club, which entitles the purchaser to year-round use of the golf courses, as well as the clubhouse, sports club, and tennis and swimming facilities.

Eight single- and two-story floor plans are available, ranging from 1,530 to 2,705 square feet.

Prices start from the $700,000s to $1.2 million.

The residences display minimalist styling highlighted by exposed ductwork, expansive windows, and ceiling heights that range from 10 feet to 12 feet in the single-story units and 20 feet in the two-story units.

Standard features include stainless steel appliances, upgraded cabinetry and granite counter tops. Buyers can customize their residences with fireplaces and brick wall treatments. Various flooring and stone counter top options are also available.

Planned amenities for the development include a heated pool, two spas, a fitness center and enclosed parking garage.

The main level will comprise retail shops.

Additionally, the positioning of the structures will enable buyers to select homes with views of the mountains and nearby Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, or the city.

To visit the preview center, take the Beltway to Charleston, and go east to the entrance of the Canyon Pointe shopping center. The office is on the right.

Another development, C2 Lofts Upper West Side, is planned near U.S. Highway 95 and Lake Mead Boulevard.

The residences will be situated above retail shops, restaurants and offices. An 18,000-square-foot clubhouse will provide numerous indoor and outdoor amenities.

Home prices at the new location are anticipated to start from the low $400,000s.

An interest list is being formed.
