Turnberry Towers, a condominium development comprising dual 45-story building at Paradise Road and Karen Avenue, continues to attract second- and vacation-home buyers, according to the developer.
"Many vacation-home shoppers are opting to forgo the upkeep of a single-family home and investing in a high-rise condominium at Turnberry Towers because of its amenities, close proximity to the Las Vegas Strip and the developer's reputation," said John Riordan, senior vice president with Turnberry Associates. "The high-rise lifestyle is appealing to many prospective purchasers who are looking for low-maintenance living in a secure, private environment."

One of those second-home buyers is Marlu Balingit, a computer systems consultant in Los Angeles who purchased a one-bedroom, 1 1/2-bath residence on the seventh floor of the east tower. Her residence features a kitchen that is open to the great room and a counter bar.
Balingit, who five years ago first looked at Turnberry Place, another of the developer's properties, plans to increase her visits to once a month when her residence is completed.
"I am very impressed with Turnberry's solid reputation as a developer committed to building a quality product," she said.
Also available are two-bedroom, two-bath floor plans, which feature a den and floor-to-ceiling windows. The three-bedroom residences, situated on the top 12 floors of each tower, feature balconies that overlook the Strip. All units will be equipped with Smart Home technology.
Additionally, each tower will feature a fitness facility, outdoor pool, landscaping, tennis, valet and 24-hour security.
The development will comprise 636 units, priced from $550,000 to more than $1.3 million.
Riordan said 150 units remain for sale.
"The one-bedrooms were heavily in demand at our fourth tower at Turnberry Place so when we designed Turnberry Towers, we created floor plans to accommodate purchasers looking for smaller residences as well as larger ones," he said.
Buyers will receive a two-year membership to the Stirling Club, including monthly dues.
The Turnberry Towers sales office, located at 222 Karen Ave., features a 1,658-square-foot furnished model. It is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
