American Nevada sponsors celebration

The recent "Island Magic" Mother's Day celebration at the Green Valley Plaza shopping center drew hundreds of area residents for an afternoon of family fun and entertainment.

The tropical-themed event featured a variety of activities, including free flowers and lipstick for moms, sidewalk sales, prizes, and giveaways. Other activities included a D.J.; games, contests and prizes; Hawaiian dancers; children's fingerprinting; steel drum island bands; juggling stilt walker; children's mural painting; magician; strolling entertainers and musicians; children's crafts; cookie decorating; face painting; and balloon twisting.

The event was sponsored by American Nevada Corp., developer and property manager of Green Valley Plaza.
