Pulte's Silverstone showcased

Silverstone Ranch, Pulte Homes' new golf course community in the northwestern valley, continues to celebrate its grand opening today. Five collections of homes will be showcased from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and there will be prize drawings and refreshments.

Visitors can register to win a spot in "Meat Loaf's Rockin" celebrity-amateur golf tournament to be played Friday, May 30, or to win one of 50 four-packs of general admission tickets to "Meat Loaf's Two Out of Three Ain't Bad" celebrity tournament on Saturday, May 31, and Sunday, June 1, at Silverstone Golf Club. The event benefits the Lili Claire Foundation/Life Skills Center at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

Silverstone Golf Club is a 27-hole championship course comprised of three nines -- Valley, Desert and Mountain -- and presents a challenge for all skill levels. The 34,000-square-foot clubhouse offers fine dining and is available for special events.

"Home shoppers can come out today and take advantage of first phase, grand-opening prices," Todd Hahn, senior sales manager, said. "Not only is Silverstone ... (an) affordable new-home golf course community ..., it is the only new-home golf course community in the northwest."
