A village center filled with myriad social and recreational opportunities is key to the lifestyle offered to residents of Siena, an age-qualified village in Summerlin.
"We are constantly striving to insure the residents of Siena have access to the finest resort-style amenities available. The village is the nerve center of our community," sales executive Jimmy Jones said. "In total, the Siena village center contains more than 71,000 square feet of interior recreation space, all of which is connected by a meandering pedestrian walkway adjacent to 'Lake Siena.'"

Central to the village are the health and fitness center, community center and golf course clubhouse.
Architecture throughout the guard-gated village, which is being developed by Sunrise Colony Co., was inspired by the Tuscan region and features limestone, arches and domes. Additionally, the 15,900-square-foot health and fitness center has 15-foot-tall murals of the Italian countryside in its indoor swim pavilion.
Other highlights of the center include an outdoor pool and spa, lighted tennis and bocce courts, cardiovascular and weight-training equipment, exercise room, private saunas and steam rooms, beauty salon and day spa.
Social activities, classes and club meetings are held at the 38,000-square-foot community center. Its ballroom hosts theater productions, art shows, political debates, movie screenings, and evening entertainment. There also are a computer learning center, painting facility, sewing and quilting center, fine arts and crafts area with a kiln, music room, game rooms for billiards, cards, darts and shuffleboard, business center, meeting rooms, and a library. The facility also houses the on-site activities staff.
"As our community continues to grow, so too do the social interests of our residents. At Siena, our residents dictate what clubs, classes and activities are offered and the community center is able to accommodate almost any activity our residents would like to organize," Jones said.
The 18-hole Siena Golf Club meanders throughout the 665-acre community. The par-72 daily-fee course is open to all ages, however, residents receive special rates and preferred tee times. The course is complemented by a 13,500-square-foot clubhouse, which includes a pro shop, and bistro with indoor and patio dining.
A selection of new homes and model closeouts are available, priced from the $400,000s to $1 million.
Floor plans range from 1,040 to nearly 3,200 square feet. Each plan in the six Italian-themed collections offers a range of customizing opportunities, including plans with courtyard fireplaces and casitas with separate entrances.
Select plans are available for move-in within 30 days. Additionally, the builder is offering incentives.
