Richmond's reputation draws buyer to Sierra Valley
When Cindi Adams decided to move to Las Vegas from the state of Washington, her goal, she said, was to find her ideal home. Her search ended when she visited Richmond American Homes' Sierra Valley neighborhood in the southwestern valley. "I had heard from my co-workers that Richmond built a quality home and that was the main focus in my search," Adams said. "Once I started looking for myself, I found that Richmond not only built quality homes, but also offered great standard options for the price range I required." While trying to decide on where to purchase, Adams said she frequented many Richmond American subdivisions and finally chose Sierra Valley because of its location and distinctive designs. Among the five two-story floor plans are available, Adams selected the 1,443-square-foot Hampton model, which has two bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths and a loft. It is priced from the $250,000s. Also priced from the $250,000s, the 1,415-square-foot Pembroke plan is a three-bedroom, 2 1/2-bath design. The kitchen features a nook, pantry and built-in desk. The master bedroom offers a walk-in closet; an oval tub; and a cultured-marble, dual-sink vanity. The two-bedroom, 2 1/2-bath Amherst plan measures 1,195 square feet. Priced from the $220,000s, the home features dual suites, a tech center and an upstairs laundry room. The 1,384-square-foot Concord includes two bedrooms, a den and 2 1/2 baths. It is priced from the $230,000s. The largest design, the 1,638-square-foot Windam model, has three bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, a loft, and separate dining and living rooms. The loft can be converted to a bedroom. Prices start from the $290,000s. To visit, take Interstate 215 to Jones Boulevard, head south to Eldorado Lane, turn west and follow the signs. The builder has more than 30 active subdivisions throughout Southern Nevada. All of the builder's model homes and sales offices are open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily except for Monday and Friday, when they open at noon.
