Pardee Homes pleases buyers

After six years in the Las Vegas Valley, Sean and Mihoko Beck and their 6-year-old son, Austin, have found a "peaceful place" to live, Pardee Home's Fontana neighborhood at Eldorado Highlands in North Las Vegas.

"This is a peaceful place. Eldorado is quiet and the neighbors are very nice," Mihoko Beck said. "Our son likes to ride bicycles with his new friend across the street, and our new home is very close to Seastrand Park where a lot of kids like to play."

The couple purchased a two-story Plan Four design.

"It has such an open floor plan," Beck said.

Sales executive Rob Tuvell said the builder expects to close out the neighborhood in the next few months.

All of the builder's homes meet the Environmental Protection Agency's Energy Star program guidelines for energy efficiency.

"With windows that keep heat inside during the winter and out during the summer, engineered heating and cooling systems and tightly sealed air ducts, this program is designed to increase a home's energy efficiency by at least 30 percent," Tuvell said.

Four floor plans are available.

The single-story Plan One features three bedrooms, two baths, a family room and two-car garage. Options include a nursery off of the master suite, a second master suite and a three-car garage. The design measures 1,594 or 1,827 square feet and is priced from $233,450 and $242,450.

Plan Two, a single-story home, measures 1,979 square feet. It features three bedrooms, two baths and a two-car garage, while a fourth bedroom, den or dining room are optional. The price starts from $272,950.

At 2,349 square feet, the two-story Plan Three comes with three bedrooms, a den or optional fourth bedroom, and three baths. It is priced from $265,450.

Starting at $288,950, the two-story, four-bedroom, three-bath Plan Four includes a bonus room and three-car garage. The standard design measures 2,712 square feet, while optional configurations measure 2,459 or 2,931 square feet.

Eight model homes, including those from the builder's Mandevilla neighborhood, are open in the community's model park.

The builder has started an interest list for Tamarind, its newest neighborhood in the community. It is set to open June 19.

Community amenities include a fire station, an elementary school and two parks.

To visit, take Craig Road to Camino al Norte and proceed north to the community's entrance. The models and sales office are open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily except Monday, when they open at 11 a.m.

Pardee has built more than 25,000 homes in Southern Nevada since 1952.
