Pulte Homes presents mother-daughter event

In honor of Mother's Day, Pulte Homes is presenting a mother-daughter workshop on the art of scrapbooking on Saturday at its Autumn Ridge neighborhood in Summerlin. Sessions will be held at 11 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m.

Hosted by Marnie Magner of Creative Memories, participants will learn how to preserve their photos, view sample scrapbooks, and create memory pages of their own. Guests are encouraged to bring four or five photographs to be used in designing their pages.

"We are very excited about this workshop because it's a wonderful opportunity for mothers and daughters to work together on a fun and creative project," Lynn Galindo, director of marketing for the builder, said.

The builder will provide guests with a special gift to be used in creating their scrapbook pages. Three gift certificates for Creative Memories will also be raffled off at the end of each session.

Reservations are recommended since space is limited and may be made by calling Mary Berarducci at 804-7587.

To visit, head west on Sahara Avenue to Town Center Drive and go south. Proceed to Havenwood Lane and travel west, following the signs to the neighborhood.

According to Galindo, the scrapbooking class is one of several monthly workshops planned by the builder. Others include a father-son workshop in honor of Father's Day on June 16, a gardener's workshop, decorator's workshop, and holiday workshop.

Located in The Willows village, the neighborhood features homes ranging from 1,299 to 1,653 square feet and priced from $155,990. The homes offer three bedrooms, two- or three-car garages, structured wiring, a covered entry or courtyard (per plan), and 45X115 home sites.

The homes feature ceramic-tile entry flooring, prewiring for cable television and telephones, front-yard landscaping with irrigation, concrete-tile roofs, and block walls.

A multimedia package includes high-speed wiring and allows homeowners to control the telephones, televisions and computers from one location.

The homes have received the Engineered for Life Silver Series designation for energy efficiency.

The sales office is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily except Monday, when it opens at noon.
