Lots slated for release at Red Rock Country ClubSPECIAL TO REAL ESTATE
Home sites are set for release today at Vista Verde, the newest neighborhood to open within Red Rock Country Club, a guard-gated community in Summerlin. Vista Verde's location provides views of the mountains to the west and the city to the east, as well as the community's first of two planned Arnold Palmer-designed golf courses. The release is comprised of 24 lots, according to Kevin Stall, director of sales. "Special doesn't begin to describe this limited release ...," Stall said. "With these home sites, the mountains are literally in your back yard and the entire area is encompassed by the beautiful greens of the golf course, which has been masterfully designed to blend in with the natural environment. Some of the home sites also offer views of the Las Vegas Valley and select sites have spectacular views of a nearby waterfall and pond." Homes in the new release are priced from $570,000, including both the home and the lot. Buyers can choose from three collections of homes: Palo Verde's floor plans range from 3,765 to 5,300 square feet; Ocotillo's single-story designs range from 2,864 to 4,175 square feet with courtyards and three-car garages; and the Mesquite Collection's two-story plans measure from 3,188 to 4,295 square feet with as many as six bedrooms, a courtyard entry, deck and three-car garage. Professional designers are available to assist buyers with their selection of options and upgrades. In addition, buyers interested in building a home with customized features can do so through the developer's Sunsation Program. The country club features several amenities, including a golf practice facility with a double-ended driving range, putting green and chipping areas. This facility complements the golf course, which is highlighted by 100-foot drops, lakes, waterfalls and streams. A second golf course is under construction. "Today, about 46 percent of course construction is real estate-related according to a study by the National Golf Foundation," Stall said. "Our buyers are choosing more than a home, they are choosing a lifestyle and, in particular, an active lifestyle that often includes golf and the opportunity to live in a social setting with a clubhouse and recreational facilities." The main clubhouse features a pro shop, banquet facilities, a board room and two dining rooms. The aquatic center provides several pools, a spa and an outdoor grill. The tennis center is comprised of nine hard-surface courts. A sports club is also open, offering fitness equipment, saunas, steam rooms, an aerobics studio, locker rooms and a children's area. To visit, take Sahara Avenue west, past Town Center Drive, and follow the signs. Or, take Interstate 215 to Sahara and go west. The sales office and models are open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
