Perma-Bilt celebrates grand opening of Valley Crest

Perma-Bilt Homes is celebrating the grand opening of its Valley Crest neighborhood from noon to 4 p.m. today with entertainment and refreshments.

The gated neighborhood in the northwestern valley features four single-story floor plans that range from 2,360 to 2,736 square feet. Each offers a three-car garage and front courtyard. Prices start from the mid-$200,000s.

"Valley Crest is truly an exciting new community with so many incredible attributes," Daniel Schwartz, president and CEO, said. "The single-story floor plans showcase new designs, each with several flexible options such as casitas, guest suites, covered patios and home offices that are sought by today's buyer. And, each home is situated on an oversized home site, making it ideal for a swimming pool."

He said the location adds to its appeal.

"The neighborhood is nestled amid upscale custom homes and enjoys panoramic vistas of mountains to the west and northeast, as well as a sweeping view of the entire Las Vegas Valley to the south via its elevated location," he said.

The Eastglen plan measures 2,360 square feet with four bedrooms, 3 1/2 baths, a great room, circular dining room and master suite. It can be built with an optional fifth bedroom, guest suite with bath, parlor or optional den/office.

Measuring 2,462 square feet, the Westcliff design features five bedrooms, three baths, a great room and country kitchen. Options include a casita with bath, den, guest suite with parlor, or master retreat.

Offering four bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths is the Southpeak. The 2,602-square-foot home features a great room; dining room; and options for a fifth bedroom, casita with a bath, guest suite with a parlor, or den.

The Northridge plan measures 2,736 square feet with four bedrooms, 3 1/2 baths, and formal living and dining rooms. Options include a fifth bedroom, guest room with bath, guest suite with parlor and office/den.

The designs have received the Comfort Wise and Energy Star designations for being at least 30 percent more energy efficient than homes built to standard building codes. Energy-efficient features include special windows, high-efficiency air-conditioning and heating systems, tightly sealed ducts and extra insulation.

To visit, take U.S. Highway 95 to Centennial Parkway, head west to Campbell Road and turn right. The sales office is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily except Monday, when it opens at 11 a.m.

Perma-Bilt Homes is a division of Meritage Homes.
