Canadian entrepreneur finds niche at Anthem Country Club
When he visited Las Vegas about three years ago, Jason Moskoske never expected to move to the city. A frustrating experience led to a new business and a new home at Del Webb's Anthem Country Club in Henderson. "I couldn't find any place to check my e-mail," said Moskoske, then a business major at York University in Toronto. "So I started ... an Internet coffee house on Las Vegas Boulevard." He said that although he originally planned to rent, when he saw Anthem Country Club, "I was blown away. This is a great buy for the price. I've been to many places in the world, but I've never seen a place like this for the money. It was a very good investment." The Canada native also said he was impressed by the builder's 9-Step Program, a customer-service and warranty procedure, which guides homeowners through the construction process and provides follow-up visits at regular intervals for two years after occupancy. "They treat me like royalty. I'm very happy with the level of service Del Webb provides," Moskoske said. The program is featured at all of the builder's valley neighborhoods: Sun City Anthem, Solera at Anthem and Anthem Country Club, all located within the Anthem master-plan in Henderson; and Sun City Aliante, the age-qualified component of the Aliante master-planned community in North Las Vegas. To visit Anthem, take Eastern Avenue south, two miles past St. Rose Parkway, turn left on Anthem Parkway and follow the signs. Models are open daily from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To visit Sun City Aliante, take U.S. Highway 95 to Centennial Parkway and exit east to Sky Pointe Drive. Turn right at Frontage Road, then turn left onto Interstate 215. Exit at Aliante Parkway and go north. Models are open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
