Aliante's floor plans, amenities perfectly match couple's style

When Mike and Nancy Webb were ready to buy a new home, there was no question about which builder or community they would choose. As a sales agent for D.R. Horton at Aliante, Mike Webb is familiar with the builder's product, as well as the master-planned community in North Las Vegas.

"D.R. Horton is one of the largest builders in the country, and our specialty here in Southern Nevada is building single-story homes," he said. "I was also very familiar with the overall master plan. So when we were ready to move, we looked at what Aliante offered and the only thing we could come up with that was missing was us. Everything we wanted was in the plan including the walking trails, parks and future retail centers."

The Webbs chose Plan 2550 in the builder's The Estates neighborhood.

"We love the design of this home. It is spacious, yet convenient, with plenty of room for the two of us, plus the extra bedrooms we will need when family and friends visit," Nancy Webb said. "We also like the extra privacy afforded by having the master suite separated from the secondary bedrooms."

The 1,905-acre community has primary and age-qualified villages, which will have as many as 7,500 homes.

In addition to D.R. Horton, KB Home, Pardee Homes and Pulte Homes are building houses in the primary village; Del Webb Corp. is developing the age-qualified Sun City Aliante.

Homes are priced from the $180,000s to the $500,000s.

About one-fourth of the community is designated for recreational and public purposes including the municipal Aliante Golf Club, a fire station, three city parks, trails and an arroyo.

Plans call for two elementary schools, a middle school and about 100 acres of commercial development including shopping, dining and professional services.

To visit, take U.S. Highway 95 to the Interstate 215 east exit. Proceed to the Aliante Parkway exit then go south.

The information center is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
