    Special to Real Estate
Landscaping around a new home is an important finishing touch for many buyers, but the city of Las Vegas demands it be done with water conservation in mind.
In 1998, the city amended the zoning code to establish limitations on the amount of turf that can be installed in connection with the landscaping of new developments.

The Revere opens for play at Sun City Anthem

    Special to Real Estate
The Revere at Anthem golf course, designed by PGA Hall of Fame member Billy Casper and architect Greg Nash, has opened for public play at Sun City Anthem in Henderson.
"This is one of the most unique pieces of land I have ever worked with," Nash said. "It has allowed us to do some things you would never find on an average course. The cross-canyon fairways and tucked-away greens will give the golfer a superior golfing experience in a spectacular setting."
As the golf course meanders through the community, golfers encounter preserved desert landscape and natural washes, many of which create unique hazards. The course also encircles a number of transplanted desert trees and natural vegetation that enhance the surroundings.
