Vistana draws first-time home buyer
Joe Conjin equates the Vistana at Rhodes Ranch condominium development to an oasis. "This place is beautiful with a waterfall, pool and big palm trees. Vistana is truly resort-style living in Las Vegas. I looked (for a new home) for a couple of weeks and nothing else quite fit what I was looking for. Vistana was home at first sight," said Conjin, a first-time home buyer. "Knowing that this home is mine makes me feel a lot better. I also love the amenities available at Vistana. I love playing pool, and now I don't have to drive to the gym." Common-area amenities include a swimming pool, a two-story fitness center and a spa. A second pool is under construction. Conjin chose the Venice plan with three bedrooms and two baths. At 1,413 square feet, the Venice is the largest model available at the complex. "The kitchen blends right into the living room," he said. "Having three bedrooms will also be very convenient. Best of all, I love the view of Mount Charleston from my two back bedrooms." Eight additional floor plans are available. Three plans feature one bedroom and one bath in 670 to 796 square feet; and five designs offer two bedrooms and two baths in 847 to 1,200 square feet. The homes are priced from the mid-$70,000s to the mid-$130,000s, and each includes an appliance package and window coverings. To visit the development, take Interstate 215 to Durango Drive, then go south to Warm Springs Road. The sales office is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
