Pulte celebrates Easter `family style'

In keeping with tradition, Pulte Homes hosted its annual Easter Egg Hunt for its employees and their families yesterday.

The celebration included candy, food and games in addition to a special visit by the Easter Bunny.

Such employee events help build a team culture, according to Steve Petruska, Pulte's Las Vegas Division and Southwest Region president.

"At Pulte, we hold various events to show appreciation for our employees and their families," he said. "We are all a family here, and by embracing a team culture we ultimately build a better product because each and every one of us is a part of it."

Joe Whatley, vice president of sales, said, "Pulte is such a family-oriented company. We work hard, and Pulte really takes the time to recognize our spouses and families for supporting us."

Pulte Homes, the nation's largest home builder, has more than 100 local employees. The builder is currently developing 12 neighborhoods in Southern Nevada.
