Public invited to annual Builders Show

The Builders Show Trade Exhibition will be held on Tuesday, April 9 in the Riviera Hotel. The free event is open to the public and runs from 1 to 6 p.m.

More than 100 manufacturers and suppliers will showcase home-building products, services and technology. Also, Customer Relations Professionals, which specializes in customer service for the residential building industry, will host a free seminar from 1:30 to 4 p.m.

A luncheon will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The guest speaker will be home improvement expert Bob Vila. The luncheon costs $45 per person, and is also open to the public. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 794-0117.

The Southern Nevada Home Builders Association and Southwest Gas Corp. are sponsors of the show, which ranks as the largest local gathering of building industry professionals with about 1,400 attendees.
