Enclave custom home remains open to visitors
Anyone wishing to experience the ultimate in custom-home elegance and technology should tour Christopher Homes' 10,000-square-foot, $7.5 million show home in The Enclave custom-home neighborhood at Southern Highlands Golf Club, according to Erika Geiser, vice president of marketing for the builder. Geiser said the home in the southwestern valley was originally scheduled to close to the public weeks ago, but the response led the builder to continue the guided tours. "A custom-show home of this caliber has never before been built in Southern Nevada and the reaction among the visitors has been overwhelmingly positive," Geiser said. The home is open to visitors 12 and older today from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. A donation of $10 per person is requested with all proceeds benefiting the Candlelighters for Childhood Cancer of Southern Nevada. Features of the home include four courtyards, an indoor sports court, a theater, wellness center, sky room, seven fireplaces and 10 baths. The show home is one of 18 custom residences that will be built in the gated neighborhood. Homes will measure from about 5,000 to more than 10,000 square feet, many on sites that align the golf course and offer views of the neighborhood's park. Prices are expected to range from about $1.5 million to more than $8 million. Each buyer will receive a golf club membership to Southern Highlands Golf Club, upon application approval. Mark Stuhmer, vice president of the builder's custom-home division, said the primary focus at the neighborhood will be to simplify the home-building process for each client. To visit, take Interstate 15 to the Henderson/Lake Mead exit, head west and follow the signs.
