MoneyWorld's relocation team takes pride in service
Century 21 MoneyWorld worked with a record number of relocation clients last year, according to Elizabeth Schubeck, vice president of relocation. Schubeck said nearly 2,500 clients were served by the department. "We bundle services for our customers, (and) go beyond giving the best possible service in buying or selling a home in Las Vegas. For instance, through our Connections Program, we'll turn off utilities at one location and turn them on at another. And we partner with more than 50 venders to provide one-stop shopping and competitive pricing on everything from alarm monitoring services to carpet sales," Schubeck said, pointing out that retirees account for about 20 percent of incoming relocation clients. "However, we have seen a tremendous amount of military movement into and out of the city, and that was one reason for bolstered numbers. We're also getting more word-of-mouth referrals." To assist the increasing number of clients, the department has perfected the way it operates. "We've put together very stringent criteria to be an agent in this department," she said. "A relocation agent has to really be on his or her game, (and) that includes meeting minimum production standards. Of the 360 MoneyWorld agents in three offices, 60 of them specialize in relocation accounts." The company's relocation department has been nationally recognized for its efforts. Recently, it received the Best Incoming Referral Department Award from Cendant Mobility Network, which handles about 65 percent of all third-party relocations worldwide, according to Schubeck. MoneyWorld is a principal broker for Cendant Mobility. "There are hundreds of brokers throughout the country, and the award was given to the office who converted the most referrals into sales and provided the best customer service," Schubeck said. "We were so honored to win; it verified that we're doing our jobs right." Mike West, company president, praised the department. "Everyone on the relocation team is excited to do things right the first time," he said.
