Christopher customizes at Southern Highlands

A broad range of design selections and customizing options are available at The Christopher Collection, a neighborhood by Christopher Homes at the Southern Highlands Golf Club in the southwestern valley.

More than 75 percent of the 98 homes have sold, according to sales agent Kimberly Heese. Most of the remaining home sites are located along the golf course.

"This is an excellent time to visit The Christopher Collection, as we are offering tremendous values on a selection of spectacular home sites," Heese said.

The neighborhood offers 15 one- and two-story floor plans ranging from 3,072 to 6,200 square feet. Home sites average about one-quarter of an acre.

Prices start from the low $500,000s to more than $1 million.

Standard amenities include a stainless steel appliance package, a choice of oak or maple cabinetry, and granite counter tops.

Each home purchase includes a $25,000 credit that can be applied to options and upgrades.

In addition, buyers may customize their selected floor plan to include amenities such as elevators, detached casitas, wine cellars and courtyard fireplaces.

Christopher Homes also is building The Villas neighborhood at Southern Highlands Golf Club.

Priced from $329,900 to the mid-$800,000s, the neighborhood offers eight floor plans measuring from 1,983 to 3,400 square feet.

Both neighborhoods offer home sites with city, mountain and golf course views.

Southern Highlands Golf Club features a guarded entrance, roving security, concierge services and recreational facilities.

Amenities include a sports and fitness center; swimming pool; tennis courts; and a Tuscan-themed, 42,000-square-foot clubhouse.

Christopher Homes provides each buyer with a social membership to the club, upon application approval.

In addition, buyers at both neighborhoods receive consultation with an interior designer from the builder's design center.

To visit the neighborhoods, take Interstate 15 to the Henderson/Lake Mead exit and go west. Proceed past the stop sign to Southern Highlands Parkway, turn left onto Robert Trent Jones Lane and proceed to the entrance.
