Help-U-Sell expedites sale, purchase

When longtime Southern Nevada resident Bob McIntosh decided to downsize, he contacted Larry May, an owner/agent of Help-U-Sell Real Estate Marketing Team, who helped him sell his home.

May listed the five-bedroom, three-bath, 2,500-square-foot home in the southwestern valley for a set $2,950 fee.

"We had it listed with someone else before," said McIntosh, a retired railroad worker. "I found Help-U-Sell ... and thought it was too good to be true. But it was true. They came out, took pictures and sold it in only two days.

"And this was before the market went crazy, too. Help-U-Sell was very good."

May then helped McIntosh find and purchase a three-bedroom, two-bath, 1,506-square-foot home.

"I'd definitely use them again," McIntosh said. "Larry did a tremendous job. ... My kids are all living here now and they're going to purchase a home through him."

May, whose office is located at 8665 W. Flamingo Road, explained that his company has a set fee regardless of the home's price.

"In Bob's case, he showed his own property. By him showing it himself, he saved big money," May said. "We still do all the paperwork for our fee, but the bottom line is that the seller really capitalizes."

Help-U-Sell has eight offices in Southern Nevada.
