Neighborhood nears closeout at Southern Highlands in southwest

Fifteen home sites remain at The Foothills Tuscany Series, a neighborhood by Pacific Southwest Development in the Villages at Southern Highlands in the southwestern valley.

"Buyers have responded strongly to the Foothills Tuscany Series," owner Geraldine Evans said.

"The community offers a variety of models, private front courtyards and casitas that appeal to a multitude of home buyers."

The guard-gated neighborhood features four Tuscan-style floor plans on sites that measure at least one-quarter acre.

The two-story, 4,360-square-foot Bellasera design offers as many as seven bedrooms, including a first-floor guest suite, 4 1/2 baths, a loft, library with a volume ceiling, and a three-car garage. It is priced from $478,900.

Priced from $459,900, the Venetian is a trilevel home with a front courtyard, five-car garage and optional front courtyard casita. The plan measures 4,106 square feet and has four bedrooms, 3 1/2 baths, a library and loft. The design can accommodate as many as seven bedrooms.

Measuring 3,743 square feet and priced at $432,900, the Las Brisas is a two-story home with four bedrooms, 4 1/2 baths, a circular staircase and loft. Additionally, it has a first-floor guest suite and a master suite with retreat, while a fifth bedroom is optional. A three-car garage is included.

The Tapatio is a single-story home measuring 3,088 square feet. It has three bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths and a library. Priced from $419,900, it can be customized to include a fourth bedroom or enclosed library.

Detached casitas measuring from 270 to 512 square feet are available.

The Villages at Southern Highlands showcases designs by several builders. Homes are priced from the $170,000s to the $600,000s.

Maps of the community are available at any of the models, which are open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
