Military family chooses home in Silverstone Ranch
On their first visit to Silverstone Ranch, Jon and Tisha Rhone were impressed by what they saw. Jon Rhone, who is in the Air Force, had recently moved his family back to the U.S. after being stationed in Japan for three years. "We initially looked at another area community, but upon suggestion from our (realty agent), we checked out Pulte's Silverstone Ranch community," Tisha Rhone said. "An inventory home became available and we were assured this was the right decision because of Pulte's excellent ratings and value." Silverstone Ranch is comprised of six collections of homes and 23 floor plans. It is built around the Silverstone Golf Club in the northwestern valley. "Being a family of five, we chose the 1,890 plan. The master bedroom is spacious and gives my husband and I privacy from our three children," Rhone said. "Even though our family has been very busy with the move, the kids' sports and my husband's Air Force career, both my husband and I are working towards our degrees, me towards my bachelor's and my husband towards his master's." The family's two-story home, which is from the Merion Collection, features three bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, a great room and an optional loft in addition to a courtyard and a two-car garage. It is priced from the low $400,000s. The collection also offers a 1,583-square-foot design and a 1,700-square-foot plan, both with three bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths and a two-car garage. They are priced from the $380,000s and the high $390,000s, respectively. The Pinehurst Collection of townhomes ranges from 1,346 to 2,016 square feet and is priced from the $360,000s. The development is planned to include a social center and a swimming pool. Single-story floor plans in the Oakmont Collection measure from 1,520 to 1,881 square feet and are priced from the $400,000s. Single- and two-story homes are featured in the Cypress Collection, and measure from 1,881 to 2,665 square feet. Prices start from the $450,000s. The Augusta Collection offers single-story floor plans ranging from 1,913 to 2,616 square feet and priced from the $490,000s. The Princeville Collection, which will feature the only guard-gated neighborhood in Silverstone Ranch, offers designs ranging from 3,000 to 3,448 square feet. Prices start from the $630,000s. All homes are Energy Star certified and feature the builder's Environments for Living technology, which includes a three-year heating and cooling energy-use guarantee. Resident amenities include a 6-acre park, basketball and tennis courts, playgrounds and arbors. Silverstone Golf Club is a public, 27-hole course. The clubhouse features a full-service restaurant, banquet facilities, valet service, learning center, locker rooms, pro shop and a practice facility. To visit, take U.S. Highway 95 to Durango Drive, head east to Grand Teton Drive and turn right. Proceed to Buffalo Drive, turn left and follow the signs. The sales office and models are open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily except Monday, when they open at noon. Pulte also offers Wyeth Ranch in the northwestern valley; Serenata and Vialetto in Aliante; Paradiso, Miramonte, Escala and Palomar in Summerlin; and Anthem Highlands in Henderson.
