The first two releases of custom home sites in Azure at The Ridges in Summerlin are nearly sold out, days after they became available for purchase, according to Peggy Chandler, senior vice president of community development for The Howard Hughes Corp., an affiliate of General Growth Properties and developer of the master plan.
"Azure is the newest luxury custom home neighborhood in The Ridges at Summerlin and is proving to be one of the most popular neighborhoods in The Ridges," Chandler said.

"Like the rest of The Ridges, Azure appeals to custom home buyers seeking a beautiful luxury community with all the amenities and privileges of a Summerlin address."
Located on the hillside where West Desert Inn Road meets the mountains, The Ridges overlooks the Las Vegas Valley to the east with immediate adjacency to Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area.
"Residents of The Ridges also enjoy access to all community amenities, including 100-plus parks, miles of trails, a full calendar of exclusive resident-only events and activities, as well as access to the best private schools in the valley," she said.
The neighborhood features home sites of one-fourth acre to more than one acre, priced from the high $400,000s to more than $1 million.
Bordered by holes three, four, five and six of Jack Nicklaus' replica course -- Bear's Best Las Vegas -- the centerpiece of The Ridges community, Azure also offers easy access to Club Ridges, the private sports and recreation facility for residents.
The facility is under construction within the community and is planned to open late this spring.
Azure is the seventh neighborhood to be developed within The Ridges.
To date, more than 250 custom home sites have been sold in the community. The custom neighborhoods of Arrowhead, Promontory, Rimrock, Redhawk and The Pointe are sold out, while Falcon Ridge has only a few remaining home sites available.
To visit, travel west on Desert Inn Road until it ends at Flamingo Road in The Ridges, turn left and the building will be on the right.
The center is open daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
