Belford subdivision at Mountain's Edge touts flexible plans

Ryland Homes' Belford at Mountain's Edge offers home designs with flexible floor plans, including formal and casual living areas, with some designs featuring a second master bedroom at the downstairs.

"Home buyers love that two of the available plans at Belford -- Vettore and Vernon -- have a second master bedroom downstairs with its own bath and walk-in closet," sales agent Paula Farrell said. "It's an ideal guest room because it's so private, but it's also a master suite for a member of the family who wants a living space that is all on one level."

Homes in the gated neighborhood range from 1,593 to 2,224 square feet in two-story designs of two to five bedrooms and up to 3 1/2 baths.

Floor plans are centered around a kitchen/great-room layout with flexible options, including additional bedrooms with baths, loft space, rear deck and patio areas.

The homes are priced from the low $300,000s.

Mountain's Edge, a master-planned community, is located in the southwestern valley. The community is in proximity to downtown areas while at the same time offering hiking and biking trails, mountain park areas, playgrounds, community amphitheater and replicas of an Old Western town and American-Indian village.

There are plans for an extensive network of schools, professional offices, restaurants, grocery stores and shops.

Commemorating 40 years in the business of constructing homes, the builder is offering new home buyers 40 percent off mortgage payments for one year when buyers purchase in any of its five neighborhoods at Mountain's Edge, including Belford. The neighborhoods range from the high $200,000's to the low $600,000s with one-, two- or three-story homes from 1,354 to 4,262 square feet.

The anniversary incentive includes payments of only $40 in closing costs. In addition, the builder has paid special improvement district fees (SID's). The anniversary incentives apply on home purchased by May 31 and closed by Dece. 31, 2007 when financed through Ryland Mortgage Co.
