Former Minnesota resident chooses condo at Red Hills
When Terry Larson moved to Las Vegas from Minnesota, he set out to find a low-maintenance home. Appropriately, he began looking at attached-home developments, eventually deciding upon Red Hills condominiums in Summerlin. "First of all, the guarded entrance and elaborate gates really impressed me," Larson said. "Then I toured the models and saw the largest model, the three-bedroom Pueblo plan. It was perfect. But the biggest surprise of all was when I took a look at the garage. I had seen smaller garages in $400,000 houses." Larson also found the floor plan to be ideal for entertaining. "My fiancee and I are real movie lovers," he said. "The nine-foot ceilings in this home allowed me to mount my projector high enough to be out of sight and accommodate a 15-foot-wide movie screen." Buyers can choose from six garden and penthouse floor plans at the guard-gated development, where prices start from the $120,000s. TSG Inc. is the developer of the property located within The Pueblo village. Residences range from 1,217 to 1,591 square feet with as many as three bedrooms and two baths. Standard features include a built-in microwave oven, refrigerator, washer and dryer, window coverings and an attached garage. Interiors, per plan, include 9-foot ceilings; granite-hearth fireplaces; granite kitchen counter tops; cultured-marble tubs and vanities; and ceramic-tile flooring in kitchens, entries, secondary baths and laundry rooms. Some homes are ready for move-ins. Community amenities include paver stone streets, palm trees and shrubs, a swimming pool, spa, clubhouse, fitness center and shade structures. "I'm very happy with the location," Larson said. "On one side of us are expensive homes and on the other side is a beautiful park." To visit, take Summerlin Parkway to Rampart Boulevard, go north to Vegas Drive and turn right. The sales office and model homes are open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
