KB Home promotes one-stop shopping

KB Home has expanded its Homebuyers Club to include the services provided by the Home Finding Center, which assists potential buyers in finding their ideal home among the company's 30 active neighborhoods in the Las Vegas area.

"We realized that a lot of the home buyers coming to the Homebuyers Club were not looking for financial counseling," Kathy Janus, sales manager, said. "They just wanted help locating a home that suited their needs, and they were looking for quick results.

"Our goal ... is to help people achieve the dream of homeownership, and the KB Home Finding Center is one more way we can make that dream come true."

The staff also assists buyers with special circumstances, according to Janus.

"We are currently helping a woman purchase multiple homes across the valley using the 1031 exchange," she said. "Our service is allowing her to do this transaction quickly and efficiently."

The Homebuyers Club has assisted more than 300 clients since August 2000, and is located within the KB Home Studio at 7440 S. Industrial Road, Suite 201, just south of Warm Springs Road.

The builder's full-service mortgage company is next door.

KB Home is also active in California, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Texas and Florida.
