Rhodes' Palms Bay offers golf course lots

Builder selling eight homes in master plan

Rhodes Ranch, a master-planned community in the southwestern portion of the Las Vegas Valley, features golf course lots at its Palms Bay neighborhood.

There are eight golf course lots available with a choice of two different floor plans.

"There is nothing better than owning a home on a golf course," said Felicia Benson, a sales agent for Rhodes Homes.

"You will never have neighbors living behind you or have a block wall to look at while spending time in your backyard. Plus, looking out over the golf course can be very relaxing."

Palms Bay offers two, two-story models, ranging from 2,033 to 2,400 square feet. The model names coincide with the respective square footage and home prices start in the low $400,000s.

Residence 2033 includes three bedrooms, a master walk-in closet, 2 1/2 baths, great room, dining room, two-car garage, and optional fireplaces.

Residence 2400 has four bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, formal living and dining rooms, family room, two-car garage and options for a master retreat, bonus room as well as fireplaces.

"We have both the 2,033 and the 2,400-square-foot homes available on the eight golf course lots.

"The number of bedrooms and the open layout of the first floors make these plans perfect for families. Palms Bay is also just minutes away from the recreation center and water park where there are activities for the whole family."

Homes are equipped with Moen kitchen and bath faucets and fixtures, beech wood cabinetry, 9-foot ceilings on the first floor, gas barbecue stub in rear yard, and low-e windows.

Benson said the builder is offering incentives on select homes in Palms Bay on both the golf course and standard lots.

Residents of Rhodes Ranch have access amenities, including its signature Ted Robinson Jr.-designed 18-hole golf course.

They also benefit from living in a guard-gated community with 24-hour roving security patrols, the park-like atmosphere of the neighborhood, and The R-Club and Fun Zone, which is slated to open this spring.

Rhodes Homes opened the 35,000-square-foot recreation center known as The R-Club at Rhodes Ranch in October 2005.

The center came complete with an indoor workout facility with weights and cardiovascular equipment, a full-length basketball court, two racquetball/handball courts and six billiards tables.

In addition to fitness amenities, the facility has social areas that feature three fireplaces along with couches, tables and chairs and will soon boast one of the largest outdoor water parks in the valley called the Fun Zone.

Included in the Fun Zone is a 13,000-square-foot lagoon pool with wading areas, a 10,000-square-foot water park with three-speed slides, five kid slides, rope bridges, multiple squirt-gun stations and a 1,000-gallon bucket that fills and tips over every half hour.

It will also include a 25-meter lap pool; two eight-person spas; a 12-person group spa; four covered cabanas; one exterior lighted basketball court; two sand volleyball courts; four lighted tennis courts; and a children's playground with activity structures.

Rhodes Homes, a locally owned company's, is known for its master plans, which include Rhodes Ranch and Henderson's Tuscany Residential Village.

To visit Palms Bay, take the Interstate 215, the Las Vegas Beltway, to Durango Drive, and then go south to Rhodes Ranch Parkway.

The sales office is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
