Juhl pairs with design team to offer options

Urban mid-rise development, juhl, is teaming up with Creative Touch Interiors to create professionally designed residences for new buyers, according to Rich Gustafson, president of CityMark Development.

According to Tom Tidmore, director of sales and marketing for Creative Touch Interiors, the design firm's new showroom will offer juhl buyers a one-stop design center.

Once the mood and style of the interior space is determined, making decisions about finishes and accessories opens up a realm of custom design opportunities, he said.

"No matter if your personal style is classic, contemporary or traditional," Tidmore said, "our CTI design consultants will help select products that are as diverse and dynamic as the tastes and lifestyle of the people who will live at juhl."

The project is 65 percent sold-out and completion is slated for spring of 2008.

The 15-story mid-rise will feature a glass enclosed lobby leading to buildings of varying heights and facades.

Highlighted design elements will include floor-to-ceiling windows onto daytime and nighttime views.

Priced from the $300,000s, remaining residences range from 730 to 2,200 square feet and include warehouse lofts, mid-rise and high-rise lofts, townhouses, flats and penthouses in more than 100 floor plans.

Additionally, loft spaces feature 10-foot floor-to-ceiling windows, private patios or balconies, energy-efficient air conditioning and forced air heating, high-speed Internet access, designer selected Grohe chrome plumbing fixtures, kitchens with granite slab countertops, center islands, maple cabinetry and stainless steel General Electric appliances.

"Because juhl offers over 100 flexible floor plans to choose from," CityMark's Gustafson said, "residents have the opportunity to create personal living spaces that are as unique and individualistic as they are.

"It's great to have an experienced team at your fingertips to help guide you through each step of designing your home, whether you are creating the perfect loft, flat, townhouse or penthouse."

Located at the corner of Bonneville Avenue and 4th Street, the development will include a fully equipped two-story fitness center, landscaped rooftop courtyard with pool, spa, gated underground parking and 24,000 square feet of retail space.

The surrounding downtown area features new shops, restaurants and resorts, as well as plans for the 61-acre Union Park development and a new city hall.
