-- Geotechnical & Environmental Services has been awarded the geotechnical investigation contract for the new 230,000-square-foot science and engineering complex at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. The contract is estimated at $100,000, and includes soil borings to determine the presence of caliche and ground water, as well as laboratory tests to develop geotechnical design parameters. The total project cost is $75 million.

Farid for $191,808. In another transaction, Shawn Barashy represented Marco Cecile in the sale of 3,200 square feet at 2984 Marco St. to Dream Builders Investment for $237,000. Barashy also represented both parties in Dalhart Investments' 42-month lease of 5,031 square feet at 2600 Dalhart Ave. to Donnie Meyer for $217,980. Barashy represented both parties in Marco Cecile's sale of 3,200 square feet at 2988 Marco St. to Kelley and Karen Zeh for $242,840. David Flynn and Charles Witters represented Toyota Motor Credit in its 60-month lease of 1,725 square feet at 2285 Corporate Circle from American Nevada, represented by Charles Van Geel of CB Richard Ellis, for $232,875. Flynn and Witters also represented both parties in V12 Ventures' 84-month lease of 2,394 square feet at 8475 S. Eastern Ave. to Max Health for $385,000. Flynn and Witters represented Pacific Hilltop in its 120-month lease of 7,560 square feet at 2530 Anthem Village Drive in Henderson to Gambro Healthcare for $1.87 million. Mel Koich represented Z&Z Manufacturing in its 36-month lease of 16,318 square feet at 6955 Speedway Blvd. from Harsch Investment Properties, represented by Keith Williams, for $184,142.

-- Mark Bouchard of Thomas & Mack Development Group represented the company in its five-year lease of 9,898 square feet at 2500 N. Buffalo Drive to Progressive Insurance, represented by Chuck Witters of Lee and Associates, for $1.1 million.

Shamile Brison also represented the company in its five-year lease of 2,374 square feet at 3120 W. Post Road, Building C, to Amtel Communications for $107,000. Brooklyn Julian represented the company in its 37-month lease of 1,680 square feet at 3700 E.
