-- Geotechnical & Environmental Services has been awarded the geotechnical investigation contract for the new 230,000-square-foot science and engineering complex at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. The contract is estimated at $100,000, and includes soil borings to determine the presence of caliche and ground water, as well as laboratory tests to develop geotechnical design parameters. The total project cost is $75 million. -- Lee & Associates' Michael Hansell, Jan Hoback and John Mendoza represented Horizon West Business Center in its 60-month lease of 1,776 square feet at 880 Seven Hills Drive to Farid L. Farid for $191,808. In another transaction, Shawn Barashy represented Marco Cecile in the sale of 3,200 square feet at 2984 Marco St. to Dream Builders Investment for $237,000.
