Contest winner receives new home at Vistana

Carol Morgan of Sandy, Utah, received the keys to a new home last week at the Vistana condominium complex from Rhodes Homes without having to obtain a mortgage.

Morgan was the winner of a promotion sponsored by Rhodes Homes, developer of the complex, and three other companies.

"We were excited to hand Carol Morgan the keys to her American dream right here at Vistana," marketing manager Tawnya Motte said.

Morgan's name was drawn from entries submitted at Smith's Food & Drug centers across the western United States. She plans to use the new home as a vacation home.

"I am thrilled about winning my new home at Vistana," Morgan said.

The development, located in the southwestern valley, features two pools, a two-story fitness center and a spa. A third pool is planned.

Three floor plans feature one bedroom and one bath and measure from 670 to 796 square feet. The largest residence offers three bedrooms and two baths in 1,413 square feet.

The prices start from the high $70,000s to the $150,000s.

Each home comes with an appliance package and window coverings.

To visit, take Interstate 215 west to Durango Drive and exit south. Proceed towards Warm Springs Road following the signs. Sales office hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
