Pardee Homes' Living Smart provides environmentally sensitive features in the categories of EarthSmart, EnergySmart, HealthSmart and Watersmart, according to sales director Rob Tuvell.
The builder is offering the program in its new Alvarado and Madera neighborhoods at Vista Verde in the Centennial Hills area of northwestern Las Vegas.

Alvarado is a collection of one- and two-story plans with up to five bedrooms in 1,570 to 2,408 square feet.
Floor plans provide options for great-room designs, dens, media rooms, lofts and downstairs guest rooms. Prices range from $314,450 to $393,950.
Madera offers one- and two-story plans with up to five bedrooms and options such as courtyard areas, game rooms, workshops, patios and bonus rooms in 2,576 to 3,552 square feet.
Prices range from $436,950 to $507,950.
The community features a Desert Demonstration Garden and a LivingSmart Room where environmental programs are explained.
In addition to water-efficient landscaping, home buyers can choose from special LivingSmart options and features that include fluorescent lighting, tankless water heaters, low-VOC paint and central vacuum systems.
To visit from U.S. Highway 95 North, exit at Durango Road and turn left. Turn right onto Frontage Road and left onto Severance Lane. Follow the signs.
The Pardee neighborhood's sales office is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, except Monday when it opens at 11 a.m.
