Red Rock Country Club to reveal new model

Red Rock Country Club will reveal its new Acacia 1100 model home at an event with food and giveaways from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday. The model is the 13th for the guard-gated community located in the western region of Summerlin.

Sunrise Colony Co. executive Kevin Stall said the new Acacia 1100 model is actually an update of the former Acacia 1101 plan. The Acacia 1100 is a one-story plan with three bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths. The revision expands the old home to 2,234 square feet from 2,155 square feet, extends the living room, changes the kitchen and nook area, and adds a pantry and golf cart garage.

A foyer leads to a great room that has a fireplace, media niche and optional wet bar. The redesigned kitchen offers an optional wine rack in its island workstation, and a morning room with additional cabinets or a desk. The home also features an optional fireplace in the owner suite, and a front courtyard.

"The floor plans at Red Rock Country Club demonstrate a fresh approach to design and the flexibility they offer will give our buyers vast opportunities to customize their homes," Stall said.

The new model is priced at $320,300.

Among the customizing options are casitas, courtyards with fireplaces, wet bars, and bedroom retreats with media niches and fireplaces. A design staff can assist buyers with the selection of options and alternate design configurations, even with adding a pool, landscaping or other features.

"No two homes at Red Rock Country Club are exactly alike," Stall said. "With a blend of numerous home designs, color palettes, tile variations and architectural styles, the street scenes throughout this 738-acre community resemble those found in custom neighborhoods."

Located adjacent to the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, the country club is gated and features roving security. Upon completion, the community will consist of 1,116 homes, many situated along the community's two golf courses.

The one- and two-story designs offer as many as six bedrooms and four-car garages. They range from 2,100 to 5,300 square feet and are priced from the $350,000s to more than $2 million.

Some custom-home sites are available, ranging from 15,000 to 20,000 square feet. These lots are located in The Estates, a gated neighborhood of 86 custom-home sites priced from $315,000 to $500,000.

The community offers several amenities, including a 44,000-square-foot clubhouse with restaurants and meeting rooms. Other amenities include a pro shop, locker rooms, saunas, steam rooms, lounges and a media center.

A sports club offers health and fitness equipment, saunas, steam rooms, an aerobics studio, locker rooms, and a supervised children's play center. An expansion will double the size of the exercise facilities.

An aquatic center features a family pool, spa, adults-only pool, lap pool, children's splash-and-spray mini-park, as well as an outdoor grill. A tennis facility features nine lighted, hard-surface courts, including a stadium court.

There are two golf courses and a practice facility.

To visit, take Sahara Avenue west, past Hualapai Way, to Town Center Drive and follow the signs. Models are open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
