La Vita Tuscana recreation center nears completion at
Tuscany Residential
La Vita Tuscana, the recreation center at Tuscany Residential Village in the hills of Henderson, is nearing completion, according to Pete Rahill, senior project manager for Rhodes Homes.
"Right now we are working on the pool complex," Rahill said. "The pools have been formed, the decking is going in, and the gazebos and restrooms are as well. We've taken down the fencing in front of the building so people can see our progress."

The La Vita Tuscana complex itself was designed to complement the community's Tuscan architecture.
"We are putting the finishing touches on the interior, such as fireplace trim, glass partitions and paint. The interior will be finished in earth tones and dark woods to go along with the Italian theme throughout Tuscany."
The recreation center's use is restricted to homeowners in the community.
The 35,000-square-foot facility will include an athletic club with full-length basketball court, two handball and racquetball courts, meeting rooms, multi-purpose/craft room, billiards room, locker and sauna rooms, kitchen and card room. Fitness classes will be held in the workout room.
The grounds will offer tennis courts, lap pool, lagoon pool, children's playgruond and picnic area.
Rhodes Homes anticipates a spring completion. "The residents of Tuscany will love their recreation center," Rahill said. "Adding the facility to Tuscany will just be another great amenity for homeowners who choose Tuscany."
When Tuscany Residential Village is complete, a road will loop through the its 18 neighborhoods, anchored by the 18-hole, Ted Robinson Jr.-designed golf course. The community will house an estimated 6,000 residents in nearly 2,000 residences. At build-out, the master plan will feature the Botticelli Market Place, a small retail complex.
Seven model home communities, comprising 22 models and more than 33 floor plans, ranging from 1,724 to 4,392 square feet, are now open in the community. Each offers distinct floor plans ranging from three-story town homes, single-, two- and three-story homes with lofts, great-room layouts and island-kitchens. Prices begin in the low $300,000s.
To visit the models, take Lake Mead Drive past Boulder Highway to Mohawk Drive and turn left.
